The location is a 5 min walk to north beach (which I'd say is the best one on Isla Mujer) and 5 mins walk to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

The guest house features family rooms. To reiterate what I had read in some reviews for this place, this guesthouse is a hidden gem! My friend and I loved our room. It had everything we needed. It was also very clean. The shower had warm water, which is not always a given. The outdoor space has chairs and hammocks in the shade to hang out. EncantaLuna is away from the noisy center, and is still a short walk to reach "downtown" and the main beach. For the price you pay, EncantaLuna is a no-brainer. The owners, Erika and Luca, were really wonderful, easily reachable, communicative, and always willing to help and give recommendations. They have a wiener dog, Marvin, who is also adorable. :) Would definitely stay there again!

We would definitely recommend staying here! We arrived pretty late in the evening after a long flight and the host gave us a warm welcome. The room and bathroom were nice. And the shared space with swimming pool is a great addition! The host gave us some nice advice as it was our first day in Mexico. We’re coming back here when we have our flight back home.

Octavio and his mom are wonderful, we also loved Luca, their dog. We loved all the art in the house, everywhere we looked, someone had spent time making it from bathroom curtains to mirrors, the sink, place mats, paintings and sculptures, it's like everything was made specifically for this place. We especially loved the painting of the shark in our room. The location is 2 minutes from the beach and it's in a gated community, we felt safe at all times, even on the beach. The breakfast was exactly what we wanted as well. We also got some local recipes using the jamaica flowers while talking with the hosts that I can't wait to try!

A walk from the town center, but fortunately there is a very good restaurant nearby the Amigos Hotelito. It is expensive for Mexican standards since - with its heavenly lagoon - Bacalar has become a highlight in Yucatan. The price is right for the location.
