I absolutely loved the architecture - it has a charming cultural vibe, right in the middle of George Town where you can walk to everything. So many nice restaurants around too (but if you're indecisive like me, just message them on WhatsApp, they reply instantly, even to my very random questions... thank you for your patience!). The staff are genuinely the sweetest. Ashan greeted us on the first day with such warmth, and everyone we met was kind, generous, and just really good people. One even showed my dad how to play a local board game - such a sweet moment ❤️✌️ I feel bad I didn’t ask for all your names. I really should have. But to the whole team, thank you so much for making our stay so easy and memorable. You made Penang feel extra special 💕

We went there for Chinese New Year and got some small presents (🥠)! There was also some small breakfast available and the host helped us with all our questions! The location is the beste and it was the best accommodation in Malaysia! Self check in was super easy and communication was great with the host.

The rooms were so quiet at times I thought I was the only person there. The location right on the beach was tranquil. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. I will be back and look forward to another stay. Restaurants, shops were also plentiful in the area.

What a difference a staff that actually cares can make. This is a small place with only a few rooms that has not been renovated to cram as many beds as possible in tiny box rooms for maximum profit, but a very chill home with a great vibe and staff that make you feel like part of the family. King Arthur was so helpful and sweet during our stay. The free breakfast changed everyday and always some great local food, not just butter/toast/jam (which is also available 24/7) And of course the cats were sweet and nice to play with, and if you let them, they will sleep in your room with you to enjoy the AC. They had a groupchat to let everyone know what events were happening in town and recommendations for food or day trips. And as many would like to know, soft comfortable mattress and hot water!

There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. Every room has a patio with garden views. It was wonderful! Very friendly and familiar. Lots of great and helpful local tips! Highly recommended for people who want to have contact with others. There is also a lovely cat. The house is lovingly decorated and very neat and clean. Beach, food market, restaurants, public bus and much more just a few minutes walk away.
