For lunch dinner and breakfast Lucrecia cooks delicious and healthy meals that we loved. Spending some time there has been truly relaxing and one to one with nature and local culture! Thank you to the family, highly recommended for a unique experience. Note on how to arrive: Easily grab a local bus “collectivo” from Puno to Capachica and then take a local boat from Chifforn Port to Amantaní. Then either you walk 1+ hours or take a ride with the motorbike that are available at the port waiting (very cool experience)

The boat trip and fishing trip with Isaac (included in the price) is even better than the standard tours to Taquile or to Isla del Sol. I loved every moment here. The room is clean, spacious, with the best sunset view. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

The accommodations are rustic, but if you are looking for a way to experience Taquile Island and interact with a lovely family this is the place for you!

The room and the bathroom in such a good shape and new condition! Super clean and most importantly very nice and hot shower(had to wait few mins tho until it warms up). You might think you are far away from the central but there is a minivan that cost 1 soles takes you straight to central part within less than 10 mins and it comes so frequently that you will never have to wait! Big plus for letting us stay without a problem in the place for the whole full day (as we had to get the bus at night to Cusco). Very quiet location!

With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Set in Puno, near Bus Station and San Antonio Church, MADA Guest House Puno "Hospedaje" is a recently renovated property, featuring, a terrace and shared lounge. It is located 1.1 km from Plaza de Armas Puno and offers a concierge service. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. A brilliant place to stay. The rooms are clean and well furnished (including a big TV with streaming services), breakfast was good, and the WiFi works well throughout the building. It was also generally quiet. The owner is super helpful and friendly, for example he looked after our bags when we arrived early and then later while we did a 2 day trip on the lake.
