We even got to enjoy a beautiful Tahitian dance performance, which made our stay feel extra special and authentic. 🌺💃🏽 What impressed us most was the care and effort in helping us organize our trip — the host managed to get us on the Blue Lagoon tour at the very last moment, just the night before! This made our visit unforgettable, and we are so thankful for the support and warm hospitality. The atmosphere of the guesthouse is relaxed, friendly, and truly feels like home. Beautiful view, relaxing. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

Vaimoe Lodge Tiputa features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Tiputa, 500 metres from Tiputa Pass. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Every room includes a terrace with views of the inner courtyard. Location was super, very quiet with a great view. Breakfast was very good and changed depending on days. The owners were the kindest and really took care of us during our stay. I would highly recommend this accomodation if you want to spend time in the Atoll of Rangiroa.

Right from before I arrived, she advised on getting to the place, the practicalities, the expectations. Then, she arranged for me to be met, taken to the quay, & met me at the other side to take me to the beautiful house, showing me, on the way, the way points to navigate to it. And what a beautiful house! Next to the lagoon, with wide verandahs to relax on. All the facilities you need. Kayaks, bicycles, snorkels, etc, all available for your use, freely. Lovely breakfasts arrive each morning. And dinner, by arrangement, should you wish. The house is airy & light, spacious & bright. I said it was my favourite place I'd stayed at on my extensive travels - & I meant it. I recommend Le Fare Bleu without hesitation.

We stayed in the apartment that would be comfortable for long stays as well. Fully furnished, very well equipped and super functional. The bed was super comfortable. The huge terrace with a view where we spent most of the time. Henry was amazing host! Going above everything we expected.

Rainwater for the showers and toilets, bring your own drinking water, and solar electric (that worked most of the time). Fans and sea breezes, no A/C. No WiFi, "two-bar" cellular. Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.
