After a long day at the airport waiting for my luggage, I arrived at Villa Rivarola late in the evening, feeling tired and frustrated. However, Sophie and Pedro were like angels on that rainy Christmas night. They welcomed us with such warmth that it instantly felt like home. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and gave off a comforting, homely vibe. Since all the nearby restaurants were closed for the evening, Sophie went out of her way to cook a meal for us herself. We are deeply grateful to them for making us feel the kindness and warmth of humanity, even while far from home, on such a special day.

The homestay offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. This is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. We travel a lot for sports and have stayed countless wknds in Airbnbs. The bed is SO comfortable. It’s a quiet neighborhood. The only thing you might hear in the morning is birds chirping. The bedroom has a king bed and lots of phone plug ins, a nice bathroom attached and a huge closet. The owner is there and he will COOK and SHARE his dinners that are absolutely amazing and that’s coming from my perspective of an avid home cook. You can use the kitchen, kitchen table, and extra living room. I stayed twice with my 15 yo son. The house is 30 min away from Yelm. We will definitely stay again.
