Locality seems quite safe, and active even after hours of the day. The hostel is well kept, even the common area, you may even plug in and work peacefully if your on a working holiday, for the digital nomads 😀. The breakfast was a big spread with many options and quality. Comfortable spacious rooms (with chairs!) and the nightly pay-what-you-can dinner made it super easy to meet other travellers. Met a lot of cool people to explore the city with, and was able to fall asleep at 10pm no problem if I wanted to. If you stay anywhere else in Vienna you're a fool. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, big and have a separate bathroom and toilet which makes things so much easier!
