Everything! I booked a private room just for myself and it was big, comfy, impecable cleaning and nice decorated. Fan, tv and fridge. Very beautiful common outside areas. I loved the decoration the pool the fountains and the murals and all the art around

The staff were incredible especially Paul, the owner, who provided me with a free upgrade from a single to a double room upon arrival which I’m very grateful for. The manager Tim was also very friendly and accomodating. It’s truly such a peaceful hostel, just about everyone had gone to bed by 10pm and it was silent. The bathroom, kitchen, laundry and pool amenities are all beautiful and way beyond the standard for hostel accomodation. I plan to return again in the future for a longer stay!

The place was very cozy and practical. Perfect for relaxing between adventures. The owner, Peter, went to lengths to ensure everything was in order. He had good tips for spending the time and he even booked trips for us. We had a great time!

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided.

the location is great. art gallery, woolworths, night market... all in walking distance. And they even provide shower gel in bathroom. Kitchen is clean. Hooks in the room for you to hang your coat.

Ideally located in the scenic and quieter area of the Esplanade- away from the noise of the clubs, bars and traffic- but only an easy 10 minute walk to the main attractions, the Pier and Cairns City...

Zenon and his team took great care of me. Ask them to hook you up with Jeremy for a tour of the Daintree Rainforest. You will not regret it. Place is a couple of minutes on foot to central Cairns. Malaysian restaurant out front was very good. Check-in is possible after hours. Keys will be placed in a safe. Checkout and bag storage was flawless. Would definitely stay again.

The staff is very kind and super helpful with information and recomendations on activities. Restaurant has good food and a discounted menu for guests. Bar has a daily happy hour.

YHA Cairns Central is located just 15 minutes' walk from The Esplanade and Trinity Wharf. It features an outdoor swimming pool, 2 spas, and a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

Great place to stay as a traveller. Social atmosphere with a huge bar and pool area. Not as loud as people make it out to be, I couldn’t hear anything in my room. Nice lounge areas with air conditioning, TVs and big kitchens.
