Beautiful mansion just a few meters away from the station. Had a huge high ceilling room with partial view on the lake! A reaL dream ! The concept of Hostel totelexcellently cohabits.

Surrounded by a lush garden, the Youth Hostel Locarno is 1.5 km away from the train station and the Lake Maggiore.

Everything I expect from an HI hostel really. Particularly liked the dinner option in the evening and breakfast in the morning, which is a good money-saver. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable.

Situated in Contra and with Piazza Grande Locarno reachable within 5.9 km, Casa San Bernardo features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a restaurant.

The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained.
