My 2nd time here and it’s amazing! Everything is cool, safe and cozy. You need to come here if you are going to relax mentally. Far from the city, from the crowd. Originally booked one night here but extended for another because we enjoyed it so much, the room was gorgeous, there are cats and a parrot to keep you entertained, the staff were excellent and very knowledgeable on the area, overall 10/10, would recommend and would stay here again.

This hostel is situation in the heart of Barichara, walking distance to everything in the quaint, beautiful town. The room exceeded our expectations as did the staff. Really enjoyed staying with the trip monkey hostel chain and would highly recommend.

Great location, walking distance to all points of interests including restaurants. Beautiful set up overlooking the town. Staff were excellent with a lot of advice, kind and happy to help with everything. Breakfast was excellent. Great music and activities set up.

No complaints after my week spent there. Wifi was reliable and strong. Hostel was kept very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The dog was so sweet. Very good prices on the laundry service, snacks, drinks and restaurant food. They offered a Christmas Eve meal that was classy and delicious. Chill out area in the back and lots of information for those who wish to do activities around town and in the region.

The hostel is very clean and well managed but the best thing is the staff that is extremely helpful and kind. They are very knowledgeable about the surroundings of San Gil and helped us a lot in organising all the activities we wanted to do. Super recommended!
