I recommend la familia hostel to everyone. The hostel is reasonably priced and is located in one of the best spots in the city. From el poblado metro station you can reach the hostel in less than 10 minutes on foot. The hostel is located in a very quiet and charming neighborhood where there are numerous small restaurants and coffees. "Provenza", where most of the nightclubs and restaurants are located, is also just a 10-minute walk away. The tour to Guatepe, which I booked at the hostel, was also amazing. If I come back to Medellin, I will definitely book this hostel again.

I loved everything. The staff is the nicest, most helpful ever and it really feels like a family. The location is the best, amazing for nightlife and cafés. Other than that, it's friendly in a chill way and has a nice rooftop. The showers and rooms are really comfortable too

A nice and chilled hostel. Very affordable compared to other hostels in El Poblado. Lovely breakfast. Multiple pillows and blankets on every bed which is SO lovely for a hostel. They put me in a female only dorm at no extra charge for my comfort which was very appreciated. The staff here are very kind. Offered me snacks and I always felt very comfortable talking to them.
