It’s a really nice hostel! love the pool and the sofas in the chilling-room, very good for takin naps!!<3 stayed at pura Vida 2 times during my stay in Santa teresa because I liked it so much, mostly coz of the volunteers that work there<3 they were so nice and helpful and really created such a nice, welcoming and joyful atmosphere:) perfect for a solo traveler! recommend!

Great staff and very clean. Good kitchen and the breakfast was really tasty. Two of us are gluten free and this was no problem at all, which we appreciated alot. The location is also perfect, close to everything! We recommend so much. Best hostel (of 4 different) we stayed at in Santa Teresa.

I had a really wonderful stay at ico. I initially booked 3 nights, ended up extending for 2 nights more and wish I could’ve stayed even longer. It’s a small hostel will a great vibe. The staff is absolutely amazing. They’re very kind and helpful. I loved the open air kitchen, there’s plenty of kitchen tools and fridge space. As the hostel is small it’s very easy to meet people and everyone hangs out in the common area in the evening to chat and play games. It’s a social hostel but not party like so you can still sleep well.

the staff absolutely made this hostel! so friendly and happy to help with everything from the minute we got there. they make everyone feel so welcome - there is a lovely social but chilled atmosphere here. it is located between the north and south of santa teresa so both are in easy walking distance despite it feeling a little out of town. the dorms were small but it didnt matter as we had curtains which felt very private. my favourite hostel of the trip

I liked everything! There is a really relaxed atmosphere. The dorm has a lot of space. Good, large beds, everything very clean. The staff is super friendly!! They helped me a lot when I had an accident, I could even stay one night extra for free. Would definitely recommend this place.

This has been one of the best hostels I have been to in Costa Rica as it is very social. It has a nice big outdoor kitchen where it is easy to get to know people. Also the staff was great- very friendly, helpful and fun at all times. The rooms were clean and had AC. The only thing they could improve are the showers that belong to some of the mixed dorms, as they are outdoors and don't provide much privacy and give a little bit of a camping experience. I still give this hostel a 10 because I had a great stay, which I even extended. I would definitely do this again!
