What a great place! Electronic key entry worked perfectly. Clean and tidy. The private room had a comfortable bed. There are roll down blinds for privacy and to keep the sun out. The fan provides good air movement. The other travelers I spoke with were interesting. Independent traveling women with ages ranging from 20 to 50s. It was fun to share stories.

The place is very nice and has a great vibe. The owner was so helpful and we were so happy to get a SIM card at the hostel. We stayed one night in San Jose and were leaving very early the next day so we didn't experienced the area a lot. They have a great common area to hang out. The place is very clean.

I love everything about Hostel Gaudys!! Not only it feels like home to me, it's also a very social hostel to meet other fellow backpackers. The staff are super nice, friendly and helpful, always there to help you with any inquiries. The hostel is clean and comfy, it's also close to the supermarkets, city buses and airport shuttle. I've stayed at Gaudys 3 times now and it is the only hostel I will stay when I'm in town! Highly recommend for lovely hostel to everyone. Ana was very helpful and friendly. The room was almost empty so I really enjoyed a quiet night to rest of my travels. They have a space for sport and yoga mat, very good included breakfast. And everything was claen. I really liked the place.

I arrived late and had to leave very early the next morning. Staff was very friendly and informative and helped me with finding a bus. I also forgot to change my phone so woke up an hour early so the receptionist made me breakfast an hour early which was very nice of him

The staff was amazing! Very helpful and informative. The area was safe and clean. Walking distance to stores and food. Shuttle was provided from airport. The guest were quiet and respectful. I couldn’t have stayed at a better place for my first trip to the country
