A fantastic hostel in walking distance to both the historic centre of town but also to the bus terminal, which makes it great to explore the city and beyond. The rooftop terrace is really nice to spend some time on in the evening and the beds are very comfy. The stand-out of the hostel are all the personal touches by the owner who goes above and beyond to ensure you have a nice stay. I think everyone got a personalised induction to Cuenca, complete with a map for their phone with all the highlights. He was also incredibly helpful in planning trips outside of town and what I need to call out is that I had forgotten something in the hostel, which he then ensured would reach me while I had travelled on to Peru by bringing it to the bus station and organising it would be taken on the bus - that was incredibly lovely, nothing I would ever expect and so much appreciated. So thanks for a fantastic stay!

What an amazing place. Plenty of spaces, indoors or outdoors, where you can chill out or work. The kitchen is available to cook your own food. The hostel is somewhat so well planned that makes you feel that is really spacious even when it is full of guests...Xavier and the rest of the staff were really helpful and generous..

This hostel was by far our favourite in all of Ecuador! first of all it is extremely well located, the facilities are really nice (free water, hot showers and as many blankets as you could possibly need) and clean and the hostel felt very secure. The best part however, was the staff: Leo was the best hostel owner/manager we could have hoped for, went out of his way to help us and to make our stay as comfortable as possible! He has become a real friend to us and helped us discover Ecuador even more in depth. We also particularly enjoyed the washing machines (that were so quiet!!!) and that we could use for free! you won’t find better or cheaper in Cuenca!

The best hostel in Cuenca. Very nice staff, good community area. You can speak, see movie, use the kitchen, play games, make music, use the laundry for free. More than worth it.

I loved this place. The volunteers make it very special. In the evening the hostel jammed together, real hostel experience. Maybe not ideal for people who want a more silent place, but great to connect and meet new people.
