I had a wonderful stay at Madpackers. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and made me feel at home from the minute I arrived. I took a tour with Vik, something that I rarely do it was worth every penny, not only a fun tour but he is the funniest tour guide ever I didn't stop smiling and laughing the whole time and also looked after us all ensuring we were happy, relaxed and safe. My room was comfortable and well thought out. Secure and big locker, comfortable bed with curtain for privacy, fan charging point and reading light and a decent bathroom, everything you want in a dorm room. The shared kitchen was well equipped, the common room has so many comfy cushions you can relax and enjoy hanging out with fellow travellers and roof space is the icing on the cake. My overriding memory will be the staff, they bring such a great energy to the place you feel more like you are amongst friends but at the same time they are totally professional about looking after you as a guest. At one point I messed up with my booking and although they were very busy they shuffled things round and found space for me. The owner even helped me to organise my bus ticket for onward travel to save me hassel at the bus station, for me that is going over and above my expectations. I'd go back in a heartbeat to stay again. I loved Amritsar and I think that was largely due to my wonderful stay at Madpackers

The stay was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly! It was very close to golden temple and everything was very accessible. There was also space for luggage storage.

The hotel staff is excellent, especially Manav is a great guy. We get a kitchen for kids food preparation. Terrace and enjoy some games as well.
