Overall: clean, well organised, well stocked, close to the centre, good vibes, safe and friendly. The staff were friendly. The Ladies' dormitory is separated from that of the men. They are basically in two different apartments. The ladies one is big, with a shared kitchen, a courtyard where I could hang my clothes. There are two bathrooms, plus extra toilets/bathrooms in the apartment next door where the reception is located. This means that despite the number of ladies, I didn't have to wait too long to use the bathroom. In general the vibe/the atmosphere is good and I felt safe. All around there were notes hanging giving tips to customers on how to use the shower/coffee machine, reminding them to leave everything clean, etc. Which was good because it seemed like the place was well maintained and organised. Moreover, I think the staff would have anything you could ask for (iron, towels, hairdryer, etc.) Again, well organised. The lady handling my check-in/out also gave me a map of the town with sightseeing tips, paths, places to visit. They also allowed me to leave my bag after check out so I could still sightseeing with hands free for a couple of hours more. Bonus: The kitchen was full of food! I don't know if it is an italian thing, but I did not see that much food in hostels abroad. There was pasta, bottles of tomato sauce, buiscuits, milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, rusks, jams and even granulated cold tea.

Everything. The hostel looked like an art museum, the beds are very comfy, and the staff is friendly and very quiet. I loved the peace here. Also, I lived in the dorm with no doors (4 people) and heard a bit of snoring from other rooms as we didn't have doors, but everything else was great. Everyone respected each other. Overall, I was impressed by this hostel.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
