Having spent some time in a very small hotel room in Tokyo it was great to have plenty of room. There was a nice lounge area where we could talk to other guests and a spacious l, well equipped kitchen. There was a great supermarket just ten minutes walk away (Ogden). Lake Kawaguchi was about 400 yards away where we got a great view of Mount Fuji. So long as you are ok sharing the facilities with other guests, I would thoroughly recommend this place. I should mention that we stayed in a private room rather than a dormitory. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was perfect. We were literally the first client cause it’s brand new! Definitely recommended. Has everything we need and so clean!! What a pleasure. Nice location, close from the bridge, 20min from the train station. And the view !! We didn’t book the Fuji view but still got a small one!

We booked the 'Camp' family room. It was adorable and the kids loved it! It is like an indoor camping trip complete with tent and camping table and chairs. VERY clean and a lot of attention to detail. Shared bathrooms were up to date, clean and looked like a 4 star hotel. You would never consider it a hostel compared to other countries. Location was great for accessing bus and trains as well as great viewing spots of Fuji (if you aren't climbing it). Also very close to car hire locations.

For an hostel great. It is tiny but enough. super location - very close to a bus and train station. to Fiuji Q highlands is it walkable. we walked to Chureito Pagoda from the hostel in about 30 min.

Overall the property was amazing. Very cozy. Very clean. It exceeded my expectations. The staff was also extremely lovely and gave us recommendations. Highly recommend the breakfast in their cafe it was the perfect way to start our day.

The host is really nice and helpful, fluent in English. There are bus schedules and other tourist information available at the reception. The appliances also have usage instruction stickers in English. The surroundings are, of course, beautiful. With nearby bus and train stations, great starting point for exploring the area and Mt. Fuji itself. The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival is also worth checking out. Breakfast was also delicious. I would come back.
