Great place to stay with awesome hosts

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kinosaki Knot, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! First off, the place is incredibly spacious - this includes the rooms themselves, which provide ample space for relaxation and comfort. Its convenience to the train station is a significant plus, making arrivals and departures a breeze. However, what truly sets Kinosaki Knot apart is the meticulous attention to care and cleanliness. The amenities provided to guests are thoughtful and high-quality, including a marvelous peach-flavored mouthwash that was a delightful surprise. It's the little details like this that truly make a difference in hospitality, and Kinosaki Knot nails it perfectly. I also must commend the property for its excellent value for money. The comfort of the futons added to the quality of my sleep, ensuring that I was well-rested each day. Everything about my stay was perfect, from the onsen hopping in Kinosaki to the exquisite dining experiences, especially the steamed winter crab - it was divine. Staying at Kinosaki Knot was a beautiful experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch accommodation with a keen eye for detail and an exceptional guest experience. Great location and big room. Wonderful town and onsens.

This is a brand new guesthouse (converted from an old silk workshop) in Amino, with a curry restaurant attached. The rooms are either dormitory style or in a kind of annexe - if you have mobility issues or if you’re tall I recommend a dormitory room. The beds are extremely comfortable and I slept extremely well (which is my measure of a good place to stay), but do be aware that it’s a guesthouse so if there are lots of other guests it might be a little noisy. (It was extremely quiet when I stayed though, so it was perfect for my needs.) The staff are extremely warm and welcoming and really helped me out with my stay in the area. I thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay in the Kyotango area - it’s 5 minutes from Kotobikihama beach (one of the best beaches in all of Japan!) and you’ll be delighted with the new-meets-old design and feeling.
