The house Is Amazing, very old structure makes you feel you're in another era. But everything needed for comfort is new and modern. The hosts are super super nice and communicative. And the location is perfect for the city. Right next to Matsumoto castle

I spent 4 nights in Popotel Three. It was very nice, comfortable and very clean. The owner is very friendly and make you feel like home. Communication before arrival was perfect. Clear instructions to find the house. I highly recommend this place if you want to explore Matsumoto and surroundings (10-15 min max from the train station). I would just add a small lamp next to the bed in Room A 😁

Very stylish, modern clean, comfortable property with very welcoming staff who helped us plan our hike around the area. Really nice lounge area for hostel guests. Walking to the trailheads for Mt. Hikarujo about an hour walk (5km)or you can cycle. Big supermarket and big Muji store nearby
