This place was amazing! The location to Odawara Castle was very convenient. The capsule was very comfortable and the shower was great, very clean. The check in process was easy and the common area was very clean and comfortable.

Wow! I loved everything, not one thing was less than perfect! Location is absolutely 💯 perfect 5 min from Hakone Yumoto station :) it was super clean! The room was spacious and everything you needed was there! Also stuff was so lovely and helpful so I couldn't recommend this more!

It had a nice feel to it. On a quiet street and a short walk from the train station. Everything is newly finished by the owner himself, who is interested in sustainability and local community. The bed was comfortable and the sleeping pod was spacious and well designed. The pods give yiu privacy even if you’re staying with others in the shared room. I had an enjoyable night and this was a good value for money. Beyond that, Takumi (owner) was super friendly and accommodating. His property is a DIY place that he’s built out and is a fun place for building a community. There is a central area to sit and eat, which is a nice way to meet other travelers. If you’re traveling through and want to meet locals and others, I think this would be a great little hub.

I loved staying here! The K bus stops nearby for a quick return from a day exploring. We booked a private room and it was bigger than I thought with lots of windows. Me and my daughter enjoyed the onsen while it was quiet and my tattoos were not an issue. The staff were very helpful and showed us around the establishment making us feel welcomed. The only bad part was that we only stayed two nights!

Kana works at the hostel and is hands down one of the nicest people I met on my trip in Japan! Would return to Hakone just to see her again. Her welcome made the place feel really homely!

Friendly staff and great value especially for solo travellers! The common areas are relaxing and even though it’s described as a hostel you still have the privacy of your own room. Located right near the sea front and about a 15 minute walk to the train station.
