The owners were very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. The well equipped shared kitchen is spacious and offers a large fridge with freezer as well as a table for having dinner with four people. We would definitely come back. It is only a short drive to the zoo and other activities as well as shirahama beach and the beautiful coastline.

This guesthouse is an amazing place to stay! The staff look after you and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I was also given an introduction to the area and an explanation of all the shops, places to eat and see nearby. Highly recommended!

2 minutes walk to Kii Tanabe station. 800m away from Aeon/Daiso/beach and Gourmet City(24H) where u can get everything u need. Nearby many nice restaurants for dinner. U can use easily get the location by searching Nagisa Guesthouse in Google map. Good, friendly & young owner. Speak English well. He knows everything in Tanabe including best place to dine, drink and Kumano Kodo. Very comfortable bed. Bed is double decker bunk bed with new pillow and new mattress. You don't have to sleep at floor (tatami) like other guesthouse. Good shower and big toilet. Planned to stay a night but ended up stayed for 3 nights and don't want to leave. Feel like own home. Nice japanese style living room. Highly recommended guesthouse in Tanabe. Must stay and it worth the value. U can dry your clothes at the backyard too.

I really liked my stay at あなかしこ. 10/10. The host is super friendly and helpful, the house is a clean and stylish old japanese-style house, local people were amazing and the location was very convenient. Just a 3min walk from the station. And the beach is right next to the hostel, so it’s easy to go for a quick dip. Also the tourist center is very close, so you can easily go and rent a bike etc and explore a bit further. The atmosphere at Susami was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to have an authentic Japanese countryside experience and enjoy quiet and relaxed time. I stayed for a week but could have easily stayed for even longer! おすすめです！
