The accommodation blends into the beautiful natural jungle and beach landscape and feels perfect for the setting. Be advised that it is a bit rustic but there's a shower and a flushing toilet and our bed was really comfortable. There are no plug points in the room but you can charge your devices in the dining area. A mosquito net is provided which was great as it meant we could leave the windows open for a cooling sea breeze at night. We were a stone's throw from the water but also surrounded by trees, it was magical. The staff were helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The food is traditional Khmer cuisine and everything we had was delicious and made with a lot of care. There are also a few other resorts in the bay that serve different food styles. Sunset Beach is more remote than some of the other bays on the island and does not have a ferry port or really much other boat traffic making it perfect for swimming, paddling and snorkeling. This does mean that you have to hike in to the accommodation but it's completely manageable, just be sure to pack in a backpack rather than a suitcase or kit bag. All the pertinent information and directions are sent out in an email as soon as you book. This stands out as one of our best beach holidays, highly recommended.

1000/10, beautiful place, comfy beds with mosquito nets and fans, lovely owner Fred who put all his heart in building this place. Great chill common area on a terrace, most comfortable sofas on the island 😅, great view, palms, snorkeling masks for guests, free water - all you need. Fred, Andre, Thank you guys for everything!!!

The property is on top of a cliff and you can access the coral reef simply by climbing down some stone steps directly from the bar's terrace. They rent snorkels for 1$/day. The whole construction is stunning.

We stayed at Rafiki’s for 4 nights total ! Was pure paradise, left today and already miss it. The two brothers that manage the place are really nice. Food was homemade and delicious. If you are coming to Koh Rong, this is the best place :) Cheers ✌️

It has become number one among the hostels I have stayed in so far because I have never felt so comfortable and safe before. Dollar and his team are really nice people, they invited me and my friend to a local dinner and it was great to experience the local menu. I sent my friend off, but I decided to stay longer because this place is wonderful. Also, the location is much better than other hostels because you are close to everything but isolated at the same time :) I sincerely recommend this place as a solo female traveler, you will not regret it, you will have nice friends to your life, I am sure when you meet with crew :) PS: The beds were incredibly comfortable and it was thoughtful of them to put 2 pillows. :)
