Best Hostel to stay in Ella The owner Shehan is very nice and helpful. Rooms were spotless & so clean with great showers. Nice breakfast in the morning. Very close to the railway station & town. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience staying at Guesthouse 164 Boutique Hotel! We spent one nights there and also enjoyed both lunch and breakfast at the hotel — The place is , peaceful, and calm There’s a truly magical, chill vibe with a beautiful view of Ella. A special mention to Lahiro, the owner — such a kind and welcoming person who really made our stay feel extra special. Highly recommend this gem if you’re visiting Ella!

The people that run the hostel are very kind and they make sure that you are comfortable. The hostel is very nice, GREAT bed and hot shower! I would definately reccomend it if you are looking for somewhere chill to rest

We had an amazing stay at 4 Axes Hotel! The food was delicious with both Sri Lankan and Western options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after exploring Ella.

The owner Dilan is incredibly accommodating and helpful! The Hostel is a bit remote (although little adams peak and nine arch bridge are in walking distance), but that's not a problem at all because Dilan kindly offered to take me everywhere by tuk tuk. He picked me up when I arrived in Ella and drove me literally everywhere I wanted in Ella throughout my stay. He was available at any time, totally uncomplicated and very reliable! A perfect host! Also, Dilan is too modest to admit it, but he's a great cook! We ate with him every morning (breakfast was included) and evening and everything was delicious! The dorm is very basic and still in process, but absolutely okay for the price!

Hostel is located in calm area but in walking distance to the centre. Shiva and other staff take care very well of the hosts. The room is big and the beds are comfortable and also have curtains so you have your privacy. Breakfast is good.
