I really loved this hostel - the room is nice and a/c works very well, which i feel is necessary in this heat. Staff is very helpful and accommodating and really go out of their way to help. Location is good, not far from the bus stop and a bit outside of the center so it’s quiet, but not too far from the center either. Lockers are big so you can easily fit your things in there.

This is a very chill hostel and it's a little bit outside of the main area, the rooms were nice with AC and the breakfast was great. I really reccomend it

I had to study little bit with my laptop so for me it was such a great surprise that the wifi was soo good!! I really liked the owner of this place, and the common area with the pool table. They have activities every day!!! Activities and the comfy common area made this hostel very social and a good place to meet people 🙏❤️

The hostel was spacious and provided everything you needed. Moreover, it's very conveniently located, nearby the beach and a very good eating spot. Easy to chill and you can also join the social dinner, freshly prepared. Only beware of your shoes at night but they do warn you not to leave them outside.

This was one of my favourite hostels in Sri Lanka! It feels like family there, the hosts are so kind and help with everything. We hang together every evening, talking or playing pool, we had a great time! Also the rooms are super clean and even when there are problems with electricity, the hosts will find a way to solve the problem. Beds were comfortable, i highly recommend this hostel!

The owner and his family were very kind and treated us like family. When he went shopping, he asked us if we needed anything and bought it for us. In the evening he offered us beer and gave us the opportunity to sit in the garden. They made us a delicious breakfast. Spacious and very clean room that smelled nice. Thank you very much for stay

I stayed in this home for three nights. It was an amazing experience. The home is owned by a beatiful family. The house is a classic sri lankan home, you have a garden you can use. Rooms are super comfortable. Everything is so clean and prepared for the guests. There is a kitchen you can use and they have filtered water for the guests. Just few steps away you have beatiful nillwella island and hiriketiya beach. The neighbourhood is so great, you can socialize with local people who are so friendly. If you want to experience real sri lanka, come to muru's place. Plus, they will make you the best sri lankan breakfast with outstanding coconunt symbol, and the dinner is out of this world. I know I will be coming back.
