The Eden Kandy is simply exceptional in every way—from the stunning property and best location to the warm, attentive hospitality. As a solo traveller, I wish I could find more places like Eden wherever I travel. I would definitely come back and spend more nights and plan trips from here. This place is highly recommended if you are looking for a budget-friendly place that has significantly more than what you expect.

From our room, we had a great view of the accommodation's garden, which was very beautiful. The room itself is also decorated in beautiful colors that match the garden. In addition to the material things, the hosts Jeewani and Ayeshika were also great. We had great conversations and thanks to their warm nature, we were able to relax well.

White Rose Hostel is perfectly located close to the train/bus station and about a 15 minute walk to the lake. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the family who run the hostel are extremely friendly and helpful. They were also kind enough to let me leave my big bag at the hostel whilst I went on a 2 day hike in the Knuckles Reserve which I greatly appreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay in Kandy 🙏🏼

The stay was truly wonderful! I loved the location and the climate — just a short walk to downtown and only two minutes from the Kandy viewpoint. The setting is peaceful, calm, and fully surrounded by nature, which was such a refreshing change, especially coming from the UAE. The owner, Buddhi, was amazing — incredibly kind and helpful. He even allowed me to check in early at no extra cost. I highly recommend this place for both solo travelers and groups.

    The value you get in this property is the best so far I've had for a hostel/dorm. It came with free breakfast and dinner! It had hot water, AC and free towels. Although the facility itself is not "vibey", it is clean and comfortable located in a safe and pretty accessible from the main area/city center. You also do get to meet other people as dinner and breakfast are served along with other guests.

    Very clean & nice accommodation in a good location close to the railway station :) As a female solo-traveller I felt super safe. The hostel has a cute rooftop & the bathroom is amazing. The owners are super nice & friendly, help where they can & even took care of my staff whilst I was travelling the country. Definitely recommend it!
