Singaporewarm and hospitable host who's willing to go the extra mile to ensure his guests have a good stay. this place is nice and homely, where the host and his friends welcomed me to go about their lives. perhaps this would be close to a homestay experience rather than a hostel
this place is also located across the road from the (only) mall, and a short 10min walk down to the main attractions in town, and even from the train and bus station
the city itself is peaceful enough at night, so i was also able to get a good night's rest
