We had a really good stay at Rest up Kathmandu, it was nice and clean, staff were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed it and definitely would stay again. Very nice roof top , amazing location.

Sunny and the staff of best hostel really made our stay at Kathmandu extra special. Sunny is so welcoming and hospitable and always makes you smile after a big day of walking around. Such a beautiful Hostel with a lovely common room and garden that you can eat all your delicious meals in that you can order from there in house restaurant!!

If you want to leave Nepal having gained a true Nepalese friend then stay here. The owner is lovely to the bone. Couldn't be more helpful and genuinely friendly. I stayed much longer than planned. The place is good value for the price. Reliable and fast internet, nice balcony area, good low cost restaurant with Western breakfast and Nepalese food. Luggage storage for when you hike. Water refill so you don't need to pile up plastic in this stunning country. Seriously, you can't ask for anything more for the price. I left having made a good friend for life. Stay here!

I felt very comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived at Alobar1000! The staff are very friendly and helpful and even carried my heavy backpack up the stairs to my room for me. The private room at Alobar1000 is very large and clean and I loved the bay window overlooking the pool with a loveseat. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows and comforter are so soft and very high quality, which was unexpected (it reminded me of an expensive hotel room in the States). The bathroom is also very large and clean and I had plenty of hot water for showers as well as nice towels and soaps provided to use. I'll definitely return to Alobar1000 and really enjoyed my time there. I highly recommend staying here as you're going to love it!!!
