I really loved my stay at Swastik and stayed for longer than originally planned. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean, bathroom facilities are good, hot shower is available. During my stay they were still expanding their services with regards to food/drinks, so now there's quite some (good!) food and drinks available too. The rooftop is also a very nice place to relax :)

I absolutely loved the hosts here. Everyone was so kind, genuinely caring, and excellent hosts. The food is amazing, the shower is the hottest shower you will ever take- which is amazing after many cold showers in Nepal! The hosts make you feel like family and the garden area is so comfortable to sit and have tea and meet people from all over the world! I was visiting my friend here and I was so impressed that I changed my schedule to stay a few days here with her and once on the way back from my other travels. it’s off the main road tucked out of the way which I loved. There is a school nearby and the kids will say hi and wave out the windows at you. it’s such a loving space.

The host offers a hands-off approach, giving guests space and privacy and not micromanaging or being overly pushy with additional services the way some hotels do. The kitchen and close proximity to a huge supermarket meant that I was in control of my nutrition. Nights were quiet and restful and the place has class. It's basically a mansion.

The staffs were very helpful and friendly (Prakash and his younger brother). Everything was nice. Location is really good, near enough to go to the Thamel hub by walk, far enough to not be affected by the noise. The rooftop was really good too!

Everything was great, the rooms, staff, location. Great value for such money, if I was again booking hostel there, I would definitely book Monkey Bunky again.
