The place is tidy and clean, with a young and dynamic atmosphere. Breakfast is included and is quite nice. I highly recommend the Bunk Bed Dormitory Room—the room is air-conditioned, the bed is comfortable, and the curtain provides privacy. The entire staff is really friendly and welcoming, especially the two guys who manage the place—Anish and Anup. They assist with everything you need and address any issue that arises. Hostel is quiet compared to the others on the same street, since it is shielded from the traffic by another building. The breakfast is good, and the space encourages people to meet and talk. Popular with trekkers when I was there.

I had a wonderful stay at Good Day Backpacker. The owners are absolutely lovely, and so are their daughters. I was offered some delicious tea several times, which I really appreciated. My room was simple but had everything I needed. It was located upstairs, with access to a shared balcony that had a table, perfect for working online while being surrounded by nature. It was peaceful and quiet, just the way I like it. The location is also ideal: only a 15-minute walk from Lakeside, but far enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. It was just perfect for me. The owners are also working on opening a café, so soon you’ll be able to enjoy breakfast and coffee there — such a great idea! :)

This hostel is amazing! With a beautiful terrace and cafe' on the top floor serving great breakfasts, teas and drinks throughout the day. The place is entirely new, fresh, clean and fully furbished, including fluffy new pillows and duvets, pristine white bedsheets and towels. Each bed in the dorm has very good curtains for privacy, spacious secure lockers and sockets for recharging the phone and space to keep your laptop or a book by the bed. It has the service of a high chain hotel but the prices of a budget backpackers' place. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. I travelled with 2 friends and we arrived extremely tired after a multi-day hike. We were welcomed with tea, got hot showers and felt like totally renewed. The manager helped me change my flights and when the airport was closed due to bad weather, he helped arranging a car to get to Kathmandu, just amazing! The hostel is central, 15 minutes walk to the lake shore, it has shops and restaurants around but it is situated away from the bustle and noise of the main street, which is a great plus. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a very good place to stay in Pokhara and a great deal.

Centrally located and by the lake. Very friendly and helpful owners. Rooms are spacious with thick new and comfy mattresses. I kept extending my stay and would again :)

Food is beautiful, room was so relaxing, shower was gorgeous, the staff are just so kind, I was sick and they looked after me like I was family. So so lovely, I would definitely recommend and I would stay here again.
