I hesitated to book this accommodation because a lot of the reviews say that the hostel is in a shady neighborhood. After walking around the city in diverse parts of town, let me just say that this is completely untrue. The area is mostly frequented by students (there are 2 campuses near the hostel), and there's even a weekend market 2 mins away from the place. While the surroundings might not be similar to what you're used to, there's nothing 'shady' or 'dangerous' about them lol. One thing to note: you'll have to go through a small shop to get the actual hostel. The shop isn't an internet cafe, it's more like somewhere people go to print stuff (there are only two laptops I think), and it's actually very modern and clean. There's just one room with a couple of bunk beds and curtains that provide all the privacy you need. The aircon is always running when there are guests in the room, there are 2 showers and 1 toilet room. The wifi is fast. New towels are provided every day for free, laundry is free, and you'll get a free locker to put your stuff in. The beds are equipped with power sockets (1 or 2 of which are USB ports) and there's a small shelf you can make use of. The people that work there are friendly, kind, and extremely accommodating. They also clean the area + rooms every day.

The location was very good, it seemed safe though it was in the city center as it was near a police station. And there were places to eat just outside it. Our room looked decent, it was airconditioned there was 1 cabinet where you could store or hang your clothes, a small side table, a TV, and a private bathroom.

    Me and my partner love this hostel, this is our go to hostel whenever we would stop at Cebu. The bunk beds are comfortable and so are the private rooms. The location also is good since its near to the malls and IT Park. And if your a digital nomand this is a great place to work.
