All of it! As a solo traveller and first time to Portugal I wasn't sure if I should stay in a hostel or in a hotel... If you have the same uncertainty: the best thing you can do is choose the hostel!! I doubted how a hostel could actually be this highly rated... But it's actually justified! 4 to 5 days is prefect in Lisbon. The location is perfect and with respect to the various districts. All the staff are super friendly and always available for travel tips. One one night I joined Mamma's dinner, delicious and fun! The dorm rooms are clean, and quiet. When idling around, enjoy a beer at the bar. And of course the 5 Euro breakfast is rediculous value for money... Plus a good way to interact with other travellers too. A 247 desk is super useful too. The hostel offers 2 tours: a walking tour through Lisbon, and you just leave a tip at the end. Do this and not any paid tours! The tour to Sintra I would not suggest... Do this solo.

Everything was great! I chose this hostel based on the location, because I wanted to be close to Marques and I am glad I did it. First of all, the staff was awesome! They made me feel welcomed and comfortable from the very first moment. There was always someone in the reception and this made me feel very safe. The temperature was good, since it is December and it was warm inside the building. Also, I should mention how clean this place was. I was very happy to see this, they do a great job! The breakfast was for free and they offer a variety to choose. I totally recommend this place, there is nothing that I didn't like. Keep doing this amazing job! Thank you!!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Very clean & well maintained. Very modern too, with a lovely rooftop bar for social activities and drinks! Great location, short 20 minute walk to most popular districts too. Staff were incredibly friendly and prepared to help with any queries. Full explanation of Lisbon is provided too at beginning of stay. I chose this as my first solo travel hostel and I have no complaints! The social activities in the evening were great to meet new people too.

Good location downtown close to waterfront, subway station, trains and ferry. Friendly staff, activities for guests like pub crawl, guided tours and free sangria each evening. The hostel is clean and spacious, they have quite a large common area, computers you can use, all bunk beds come with their own power socket, usb charger and two different lights. Security is good with key cards to unlock doors and lockers and they have free luggage storage.. Also the 24 hour reception is great. It is also a good place to meet new people.
