A great experience. The staff was super friendly and very helpful, they recommended places to visit and different restaurants. Everything was very clean and tidy, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. One of the things I liked the most was the fact that the other guests were very friendly, talkative and open to making plans, which is important when travelling alone! I will definitely repeat and recommend it to my friends as I can't imagine a better place to stay while visiting Sagres.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. A beautiful place in an amazing town!! One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Great people, facilities and a great vibe. Beds were comfy and the hostel was quiet enough at night to get a good sleep too. The facilities/ bathrooms were all kept clean and staff were always on hand if I had any questions. Would definitely stay here again if I am back in Sagres.

My stay at this hostel was simply incredible. The atmosphere was vibrant and cosy, which made meeting new people a fantastic experience. The cleanliness in all areas of the hostel guaranteed a comfortable and healthy atmosphere. The facilities were very well equipped, from the large common areas to the comfortable and well-designed rooms!

The lighthouse is a really chill place with a lot of a vibe! Also the equipment they have is really good (kitchen/ cheap surf rental) and nice staff !! :) I would definitely recommend to stay there!! For me it was probably one of the best hostels I stayed in, in a while :) It’s not bad, but I would recommend having more hooks in the bathroom because otherwise you can’t really hang your towel/clothes anywhere…
