The place was very clean and fully equipped. I especially loved how big the bathroom was. The location was also very convenient, near the MRT station and lots of restaurants and shops around.

Was there on a bike tour and it was not far from the cycling route no. 1 path. Great convenient location opposite of the train station, some good places to eat nearby. The hostel is a very cosy place and I felt like at home. Room was spacious, very bright and top clean. There are also well kept public areas. Best place on my trip through Taiwan so far.

Shout out to all the staff who makes guests a wonderful journey in Taipei. This hostel is clean and tidy. Located right next to the Airport Express station, easy to find with the map they provided in advance. Free breakfast is a big surprise, you can also get good coffee with discount. Honey milk is yum!

Great location steps from MTR station, exceptionally clean everywhere. They thought of everything to make the guests comfortable. The shared bathroom even had blow dryers and curling irons available - I've never seen that in a hostel before. Wonderful breakfast with a varying menu every day. Helpful English-speaking staff. I'd recommend Star Hostel to anyone coming to Taipei and would 100% stay again if I had the chance.

Everything was great. Taipei is a pretty expensive city, so getting a deluxe double room in this hostel was a nice compromise between price and comfort. Extremely comfortable bed. Very efficient staff and rules. Extremely clean. Convenient for main train station.
