I love love loved this accomodation! The interior style is so minimalistic and gorgeous and everything is super clean. The cafe has amazing coffee and tea and it’s great that you get the money vouchers for breakfast. Also the kitchen is decked out with like four ovens and is super clean as well. Wished I could have stayed a bit longer and would most definitely recommend this place! Super comfy bed as well :)

Lobby with vegetation is very pleasant and peaceful, i like the falling patio with vegetation, everything was perfect, personnel is so kind and pay attention to your needs.

Very nice owner. He let me check in early. Very clean and comfortable. I departed early in the morning and he still made me breakfast-very nice! Even gave me fruit and an energy drink for my bike ride. Cheers!

This was a fantastic stay. Silent bedrooms, above average mattresses, spacious bathroom with good showers and a host that really helped me out with some storage and arranging a taxi. PS. The hostel is straight next to a walkway that used to be an old train track. It is a direct, calm route to the heart of the city. Because of that it's actually a great location. My favourite stay so far.

Incredibly homely stay! Jamie and her mum are wonderful, they made sure I spent my time in Luye wisely, chatted about local spots and interesting tidbits, and made me feel so welcome. They called a local train watching spot just to see if they were still open so I could go, and had me eat pineapple when I told them I still hadn’t tried it. 🥹 Breakfast is a delicious home cooked meal, I borrowed a bicycle in the mornings to bike around, living room and kitchen are cosy and quaint. Beds are closer to each other and less private than city hostels which I loved since I was able to meet and chat with fellow travellers, unlike big hostels where everyone keeps to themselves.

One of my favourite hostels/hotels on my trip around Taiwan. The location is perfect for visiting Taitung and surrounding areas; the bus from the TRA station takes only 15 minutes and drops you at the end of the road, the bus station is only 10 minutes walk away, and the best sights/places to eat/shop are in the area. My room was huge, well-designed and spotlessly clean; the bed was very quiet, comfy, good air-con, lots of hot water and a good shower & bath. The host was so lovely and friendly; she speaks perfect English and gave me great tips for places to visit. The hostel also has a lovely cat that greets you when you arrive! Breakfast is simple, but was more than sufficient for me; there is bottled water and proper coffee available for guests. Definitely take the 1 day East Coast bus trip; it's a bargain and you get to see amazing places that you might struggle to reach without your own transport or if you have limited time.

Small, cute place very close to the beach and downtown bus station. The owner was helpful and communicative, the rules were clear from the beginning (no luggage storage, no guests). It was very clean and generally had nice vibe.
