I had amazing stay at Jamies. The place is not usual hostel but you feel more like in the family. The bed is comfy and even if you are sharing the room with others you still have your privacy. The room is bright with window so you have always fresh air inside. The wifi is working well and downstairs is cozy area where you can chill. If you order breakfast you won't regret! The meal is freshly made with lots of veggies and fresh made bread! I've never had that amazing breakfast in any accommodation. Also Jamie is super friendly and give you recommendations for places where to go and where to eat! Make sure you book more nights because in Luye is many places where to go and the area is so beautiful!

Staff amazing, facilities excellent, central location ut a 15 min walk to bus stop and 15 min taxi ($200) from train station. Room clean and functional although a little noisy as thin walls. Would highly recommend. Double room fine for solo traveller.

The hostel is simple, clean and friendly. The host (Shaun) was so nice. I immediately felt welcome and was introduced to some of the other guests, who I ended up getting dinner with. Any hostel can give you a bed, this one gave me a fantastic experience and some lovely friends. thank you Shaun.

This was a fantastic stay. Silent bedrooms, above average mattresses, spacious bathroom with good showers and a host that really helped me out with some storage and arranging a taxi. PS. The hostel is straight next to a walkway that used to be an old train track. It is a direct, calm route to the heart of the city. Because of that it's actually a great location. My favourite stay so far.

very cool spaces in the hostel, a big terrace, an great location. it’s kind of a place where locals hang out so it gets very social. the staff are very friendly and chill. we had a great stay!

Gotta be the best hostel in Taiwan. Nick is the heart and soul of this place, and you can feel this spark in all the guests who are staying here. He also took us all for a canyoning trip. I extended for 5 nights total and would have loved to stay more. Awesome music all day long, free breakfast, three cute kitties...

The hostel was very clean, the beds were comfy with power outlets and the light nearby. Also - we enjoyed having a window in the dormitory, the room felt fresh when entering. The rooftop terrace was great!
