Set in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. Located in the middle of Interlaken, both stations were about a 10 minute walk away. The hostel also gave us cards for free bus trips around a interlaken in case we didn’t want to walk. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean. Our room was mixed gendered and had 3 bunk beds (so 6 people in total). There are washing machines and a fully equipped kitchen on the basement, so you can cook yourself if you want to save a couple francs

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The location is great and the owner/ staff were friendly. Can’t wait to stay here next year.

Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

All rooms at Youth Hostel Grindelwald have wooden furniture and offer nice mountain views. Super cozy, clean, and a very nice view. Staffs are friendly as well :)

You can choose between private rooms and single beds in a dormitory. Bed linen is provided, you will have to dress and undress your beds yourselves. Showers and toilets are located on every floor (basement, 1st and 2nd floor). The place was beautiful and cozy, the room of 4 was really nice and some people might not like the beds but I LOVE them, they’re like futons and I slept so well. The views from the dining room are stunning and at night you walk either side and have amazing views of the mountains and the houses with their lights on. The staff really helpful and really nice too. I’m only sad I couldn’t stay for a lot longer. Coming back.
