The host was super welcoming and friendly and had hosted us with a big smile, positive energy, and with our room ready. The room was HUGE and we had a little balcony, which we really, really enjoyed! We rented eBikes which we absolutely LOVED, and there is no better price in the area than at this hostel. The location was perfect, close and far enough from the center, close to a number of grocery stores. There was free coffee, which made a HUGE difference 🙏🏼 All the necessary kitchen supplies were there and we were able to cook. We were able to park at the property, and the host let us leave our car for a few hours after our check out. I will DEFINITELY stay at Walter's Hostel the next time I visit Interlaken, and it is definitely happening again! This location (Iseltwald) is nearby a place was filmed in famous Korea “Crash Landing on You”. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend to my friends.

The train station is just a short walk away, and everything else, shops, restaurants, and a beautiful river is nearby. The views from the hostel are stunning. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

We arrived early, and they kindly offered luggage storage, which was a big help. As a special touch, since it was my wife's birthday, the host took the time to ask if we had any special requests. They even left a thoughtful birthday card on our door in the morning, which really added to the personal and memorable experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful location, cozy accommodations, and warm, attentive hospitality.

It’s just a 10 min walk or 2 min bus ride to the train station and a 20 min train ride to Interlaken which was perfect. I was glad to be away from the tourists downtown. Everything is updated since it’s a newer hostel and the breakfast was absolutely incredible! Sara made us feel so welcome and helped accommodate any requests. Highly recommend staying here!
