When we arrived at the train station, which is about an hour’s walk from the hostel, learned no taxi would be available for an hour, and phoned to tell them we would be checking in later than scheduled, one of them drove to the hostel to pick us up! Also, sunrise and sunset on the small terrace directly overlooking the Vltava river were magical

The kitchen is pretty bare, but there is a hot plate and microwave. The staff did not speak English, but it was no problem at all. Beds were comfortable. Loved the big windows. Several grocery stores nearby.

After 80km bike ride all I need was a hot shower and bed. Btw, you have to make your own bed - not a big deal though. Book directly for even better rate.
