Oban
Located on the seafront, Oban Youth Hostel offers rooms with private toilets and showers, and is just 10 minutes’ walk from Oban rail and bus stations. Kitchen and lounge facilities, free on-site parking and free bicycle storage are also provided. The hostel is located in front of the beach, just 10-minute walked to the pier. The room was superb with a window facing the beach, offering the best angle to watch the sunset. The surrounding of hostel was peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and worth the money.

Free WiFi and a shared kitchen are provided. a very nice hostel with well equipped kitchen and marvelously kind staff. very good water pressure in the showers.

First, the location of the Oban Backpackers is great with there only being a short walk into the town centre, station, and Oban ferry terminal. Also it's one of the cheapest places to stay in Oban being around £20 pounds per night. Which is very good value for money with great friendly staff clean rooms and generally a great base for your Highland adventure.

The place was not upto the standards I am use to staying in youth hostels. I would not stay there again. The place needs to be closed down and revamping

Everything was absolutely amazing, best hostel we stayed in - cheap, great location and hotel quality. We had twin room with sea view and shower, spotless clean, comfy beds. Common areas fantastic too - massive kitchen, fully equipped, beautiful views from dining and sitting rooms. 100% recommend

It is cheaper than anywhere else other than the youth hostel and it's very central. I didn't meet the staff but heard them speaking to other guests and they seemed very attentive and kind. It was quiet once people had stopped running up and down the stairs.

The Youth Hostel is in a great location, close to the town centre and all facilities. It's basic, for example, no TV, no kettle or tea making in the room and only one bedside lamp. However, we had an excellent shower, clean towels and bedding, and the room was warm and cosy.
