Situated in Helmsdale and with Dunrobin Castle reachable within 26 km, Helmsdale Lodge Hostel - all rooms en-suite features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. Irene the owner and Marie the manager were very friendly and welcoming. This hostel is one of the best hostels we have ever stayed at.

The location is remote comparatively,but that let me have opportunity to enjoy real wild nature, quite special and amazing experience. Special shout-out to Fiona at the reception who enthusiastically consulted with with regards to live usic pubs and dining opportunities.

Dining Experience: The family-friendly restaurant serves traditional meals with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Breakfast includes continental, à la carte, and vegetarian selections with warm dishes, juice, and fruits. Great meal at a reasonable cost, friendly staff.

Bazpackers is well situated in Inverness, and features a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The property is non-smoking and is set 200 metres from Inverness Castle. Fantastic common room! Very very cozy. Clean facilities, friendly staff who go above and beyond. Had excellent chats with other guests!

Portree’s small port and its coloured houses are 600 metres away. Comfortable clean room; friendly helpful staff; well-appointed kitchen; and lovely lounge with stunning views out the picture window. Great central location too.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Fort William is 30 miles away. Lovely friendly staff, the common bathrooms were clean, the hostel has a very pleasant environment. They serve a selection of meals for dinner for a reasonable price. There is a bar also just next to a very cozy dining room and lounge.
