Portree Youth Hostel is located in Portree’s city centre. This hostel features a shared dining area and a communal lounge. The property is within 300 metres from many shops, bar and restaurants. Portree’s small port and its coloured houses are 600 metres away. Kitchen was clean and well equipped for everything. Restrooms are in each shared room were also great. They are big and spacious. Outlets on each bed was awesome

Great bunkhouse in a stunning location. We had the place to ourselves so the children had a great time ! Pam was very kind and helpful providing us with info on places to visit and finding some highland cows…thank you !

Located in Broadford, within 15 km of Kyle of Lochalsh and 29 km of Eilean Donan Castle, Broadford Backpackers Hostel provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Beautiful places with beautiful people. I stayed for 2 weeks in this hostel and I had a really nice experience. The staff is so great and friendly, always willing to help and share. The installations are regular cleaning and the place is very comfortable. It is the perfect place to stay in Broadford.

Facing the seafront in Kyleakin, Skye Backpackers features barbecue facilities. Among the various facilities are a garden and a shared lounge. Both free WiFi and private parking are available at the hostel. They were so accommodating. We blew a tire which made us 2 1/2 hours late for check-in and they were so understanding!

The hostel provides guest rooms and dormitories with free WiFi access, as well as views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Some rooms have a TV, and most rooms have a private external/internal bathroom, while others have access to a shared bathroom. All of the rooms and dormitories provide bed linen. Great place to stay . Great pub and great food .

Very friendly staff, super trouper clean, a huge and well-equipped kitchen, amazing central locale. 1,000 per cent recommended and will go back :)

The hostel is in a fantastic location, the rooms are clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bunk beds are fixed to the walls so you don't get shaken about when the person in the other bunk turns over or gets out of bed.

I had been concerned by previous poor reviews but hostel was much better than I expected. It was very basic but had all the facilities needed. Plenty of space in kitchen and sitting area with two cookers and fridges and multiple tables and chairs. Handy for restaurants or Supermarket to get food to cook. Bunk bed was fine so no complaints and a good start to my cycling tour.

Location..close to town. There was a youth hostel like communal kitchen which would have been good to know about so that we could have taken advantage of it. They allowed us to leave bags prior to checkin time.

Right in the centre of Portree, near the port and most dining places. It's a hostel, so there's a shared kitchen, which was quite large and well-equipped. Rooms had the spare minimum (bunk beds, chair).

Youth hostel in the center of Portree. Facility very clean, well organized with very nice rooms. No complaints. Kitchen very clean, easy access, three stoves so cooking something was very easy. Great place.

The bedding was surprisingly comfortable for a youth hostel. I also liked the self-serve kitchen and they had some games and puzzles in the community area. Hostel manager was very nice and talkative.

I've stayed at a few Backpackers hostels so I know what to expect. For the solo traveller who works outdoors, I always find the accommodation to be satisfactory for the price. The rooms and shower facilities are perfectly adequate and the kitchen area is always kept clean and tidy. Also, the woman on the front desk was super friendly and helpful!

It was a cheap hostel, so I'm not expecting the best of conditions. Nevertheless, it was clean, people are friendly, with a great location and view to skye bridge, in the lovely place of Kyleakin.
