The staff is incredible, they are always there to help with a big smile - one guy even took our damaged $100 note to the bank to help us exchange it (places are super strict on this even wit a small fault). Laundry is a plus too.

Free towel, but there was no shampoo or shower gel but that's fine, did not bother me as I had my own. Great location, shops and main street right behind the corner. Great food and coffee. You can buy a boat ticket to the islands. Highly recommend

At the hostel, the rooms include a balcony. Had an amazing stay at Kualama Koh Rong Sanloem! It’s a beachfront hostel! perfect if you’re looking to chill by the beach. The common area is wonderful, I spent most of my time there! Located on a quieter side of the island, everything you need is within walking distance. The rooms are good. Note: there’s a fan for each bed, but at night the weather cools down, so it was totally fine. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a chill, relaxed vibe.

Very lovely and welcoming hosts who were always happy to answer our questions or chat. They made us feel at home, gave us interesting insights into the local community on the island, and gave the best tips for local restaurants. M’Pai Bay turned out to be a walhalla for foodies, with some must-try restaurants!!! We had some of the most amazing food here. If you want to experience the true charm of this village and eat in all the superb local restaurants, I definitely recommend staying in M’Pai Bay. You can visit the other beaches of the island easily via taxi boat (5$ pp). Dragonfly Guesthouse has a nice bar and lounge area where you can chill with ocean views, and their restaurant with vegan food is amazing. The room was according to the description, with nice decorations and a private bathroom and balcony. It was a peaceful place to stay.

Each room includes air conditioning, and certain rooms at the hostel have a terrace. In my opinion this place is not a hostel, its a hotel! Every thing is clean, the dorms beds are very comfortable, air conditioning works great and keeps the room cool, shower and toilet very clean and looks great, also has big lockers inside the room, the whole room is flawless. The hotel is on the beach, few steps and you are there. The place offers a bar/restaurant which is the center for all the shore to come eat during the day and drink during the night. Very social place, you can travel solo and meet a variety of people, everyone are so friendly. The staff is always smiling and so nice. When we had a problem in the shower the staff took care of it right away and fixed it. In overall this place is by far the best place to stay in ko rong (i stayed in another hostel in koh touch Which was way way less good), this place has only advantages.

The breakfast offers Full English/Irish, Asian or vegetarian options. Probably the friendliest place I’ve stayed after a month of travelling south east Asia. Very relaxed place in the perfect spot between two of the party hostels meaning you can have some quiet where you’re staying but a five minute walk either direction and you’re at the expensive party hostels. The beds and aircon were great. All around I couldn’t recommend this place more.
