They helped me with information about the island and got a really good lunch for the hike and an excelent breakfast. Totally worth staying here.

Everything was super clean and neat, with everything you could need during a stay on the island, including access to book tours or rent scooters etc. Highly recommend, and I would go back :)

I was saved from going to sleep hungry. Julieta is always charming, knowledgable and informative with any questions. I will be using Hostal Julieta in the future whenever I need to pass through Rivas for my flights or visa runs.

Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport is 97 km from the property. Very cool spot, nice wooden building with good airflow, comfortable beds, free cold drinking water!!! Good kitchen and very friendly owner and volunteers. About 100 meters to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the main area of town. Nice and quiet, and kittens!! For the price probably the best deal in town!

They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

At the hostel, every room is equipped with a patio with a garden view. All units at Sophie House are equipped with a private bathroom and bed linen. It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!

Morning walk on the beach was amazing, usually was the only person. Insane views from the chill area. Food was really good. Mono loco smoothie tastes like heaven. Also staff was super nice and chill.
