Family Macallister have lived & worked in Austria for over 18 years. Based originally in Tirol, we now call the beautiful Wildkogel area of the National park Hohe Tauern, home. With many years of experience, both in hosting and the Snowsport/Tourisum industry, we are well equipped to accommodate you on your summer or winter holiday, in this award winning area of Salzburgerland. The house lies in a quieter, family friendly area of the Wildkogel Arena and at the foot of the National Park region. It's only a 3min drive to the village centres & Gondel Stations of both Bramberg & Neukirchen and approx. 4min by foot to the bus/skibus & train routes for the entire Pinzgau region (from Krimml Waterfalls to the lakeside City Zell am See & everything in-between!) The best restaurant in the region lies at the end of the road - only a few minutes by foot. Across the valley only a short walk away, many of our guests put their 'panning skills' to the test & are indeed successful in finding local treasure, in the National park Habachtal region - famous for its (Smaragd) Emeralds! With 5 Alms, Waterfalls, Wildlife, Children's playgrounds, local produce and stunning views, its a must for families in the area. However there are so many fabulous valley's and mountain regions offering a multitude of activities, you'll never run out of things to do. Paragliding, Spas, Mountain lakes, Golf, Fishing, Hiking, Mountain biking, interactive museums, wildlife & Adventure parks, panning for gold, Archery, Mountain carting, Winter Sports and much much more! The area is famous for the Worlds Longest Floodlit Toboggan Run and largest National park in the Alps. With x6 different Ski regions within 3min-50min, inc.
