The house in the garden is located in the heart of Altaussee, less than a ten-minute walk from the lake, and is surrounded by a 3,000 m² ever-blooming cottage garden. With tables, sun loungers and parasols, you can relax and enjoy the summer freshness in Altaussee. A table tennis table and barbecue are also available. You also have access to our private beach right next to the beach café restaurant, where you can spend hot days in the water. Unbeatable views and incredible tranquillity guarantee the perfect holiday.
I am the third generation to run the Strandcafé restaurant, located right next to the Hideaways, a small nostalgic gem that is authentic and friendly, attentive and relaxed. I look forward to welcoming you with a drink at the Strandcafé restaurant!
Altaussee It is a special kind of happiness... Whether Archduke Johann, Friedrich Gauermann, Friedrich Torberg or, more recently, James Bond – there is little to add to the scenic charm of central Austria – mountains, forests and lakes blend together perfectly to form a harmonious whole – a stroke of luck, so to speak, which also has a positive effect on the mind and spirit. For those who want to not only get to know the Salzkammergut in all its soothing facets, but also experience it, a holiday in the heart of Altaussee is not only recommended, but highly advised.
