I'm Florian, a host by passion, and I founded Vienna Hideaways to make special places in Vienna accessible to travelers – quietly located, thoughtfully designed, and right in the heart of the historic center. I came to Vienna around 20 years ago and stayed – drawn by the city's unique atmosphere. Many guests spend some of the best days of their year at Vienna Hideaways – looked after by me and my small team. Being part of that experience is both a joy and a motivation.

Property information

The Vienna Hideaways in Blutgasse 3 are located at ground level and accessed via a traditional Pawlatschenhof – a typical Viennese courtyard full of charm and history. The two studios are spacious and each accommodates up to three guests. They are air-conditioned, individually designed, and feature a private bathroom. A small kitchenette allows for light meal preparation and includes a beverage fridge, a safe, and a Nespresso machine. Practical luggage lockers are available for early arrivals or late departures.

Vienna Hideaways are located just behind St. Stephen’s Cathedral – only steps away from the vibrant city center, yet tucked away in quiet lanes where time seems to stand still. The Blutgasse quarter is one of the most authentic parts of Vienna, characterized by narrow, winding alleys, cobblestones, passageways, and peaceful courtyards. Much of the area is protected as a historical monument, preserving the charm of a nearly forgotten Vienna. Those who explore here discover a surprisingly quiet, atmospheric side of the city – off the beaten path and yet right in the heart of it.
