105 Macquarie St is a heritage listed building in the historic district in Hobart. It is one of the oldest original buildings in Hobart built on the site of the officers overseeing convicts in the early settlement. Cica 1848,the structure has always been a commercial building however it has been our vision for some time to renovate the top floor into accommodation. We are delighted with the result. Two apartments with unique moods. Polly is fun and festive, showcasing Tasmania art works, whilst the Henry captures the history mood of Hobart and the emerging Whisky and Gin Distilleries in Tasmania. The Henry showcases unique purpose designed Tasmanian dining furniture.This is an Bespoke high quality renovation that will delight the discerning traveller. Ideal for 2 couples who want to experience a prestige and convenient location together. All major restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and the Mona ferry are within easy walking distance. The location is central CBD, and local transport is at the doorstep. You will be at walking distance to everything you need to get to know and enjoy our wonderful city. You will not be disappointed and we look forward to welcoming our first guest.
I am a proud Hobartian who loves travel and values history and the preservation of story and uniqueness. I enjoy travelling the world and staying in unique bespoke accommodation when possible. I wanted to bring this to Hobart.
We are in a prime location for tourists. Very close to the Salamanca, only a 3 minute walk and the waterfront precincts. Opposite historic Franklin Square and the Friday night street food market. You'll love it. The ferry to Mona is 500 meters
