Private Room in Blue on Blue resort - Twin or King Bed (please specify on booking). Amazing lagoon pool in complex, day spa, restaurant and sailing trips from the marina. Just steps from the ferry, all transport options (buses, car hire, scooters), island supermarket with great selection of restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance. This is the most ideal central location for a base to explore the island. The room includes: new hotel quality twin or king bed, sofa, wifi, smart TV, balcony, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, microwave, kettle, toaster, bathroom with rainhead shower, air con and fans. Free undercover parking is available.
An island resident for over 10 years, I love when new visitors discover how special Magnetic Island really is.
Nelly Bay is the hub of the island. Arrive at the ferry terminal and it is just steps to Blue on Blue resort and your room. The main IGA supermarket is in the ferry terminal precinct too and there's a good selection of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. Several sailing and sight-seeing trips depart from the marina. Buses and car hire are also available around the ferry terminal. Private parking is not provided. Parking in the ferry terminal car park is available but limited. It's an easy walk to most things or the public bus service is excellent. Hire cars and scooters are also available - recommended to book ahead.
