Creative Event & Travel Group is based in Launceston, established in early 2020, specialising in boutique events and private golf tours with a focus on creating exceptional and unique experiences. Danbury Residence Spa retreat is the part of the experience we would like to create and share, it has been a labour of love and is filled with a mix of treasures, bespoke finds and original artworks, some handed down through family and others sourced and collected through world travels. It is a perfect escape from the hectic pace of everyday life, a retreat in which you can just slow down, relax, dream and reconnect.

Danbury Residence is a special space that exudes beauty, character and warmth, boasting spetacular views of Tamar River/Valley, Mount Ben Lomond & expansive garden, featuring new-built outdoor spa in rock garden & deck lounge around firepit with state-of-art outdoor Klipsch sound system, overlooking the valley. The house itself is full of old-world charm with oriental style decor, antiques collected over the years, yet it provides all the modern convenience with homey comforts. Only 10 mins from city, but a world of its own & a perfect base for you to explore Northern Tasmania! Imagine watching the sun sets over the Tamar Valley as you lay in hot, steamy, bubbling water with your favourite tipple, while the soothing music engulfs you. At night, tell stories (or jokes) beside the roaring fire, lounging around the built in timber seating arount the pit with ambient lighting, it is the perfect spot for a glass of Tassie wine with a throw rug, so go toast some marshmallows and settle in for the night. Danbury Residence are located right opposite to Tamar Island Wetland Center, a nice 5km stroll to the islands are our favourite pastime on a nice day. There are bird hide with seatings where you can observe wetland birds on the lagoon and enjoy a restful break. There is also BBQ and picnic facility there. Scenery there change with season, but always stunning!!! There are 2 shopping centers within 3 mins drive in either direction. And we are only a 10 mins easy drive to famous Cataract Gorge and Launceston CBD with all its fantastic historic and modern visitor offerings.
