In the heart of the farm, sits our newly renovated, two-bedroom cottage, with an open plan kitchen and living area, bathroom, wood burning fireplace and an outdoor area with firepit, it is the perfect place to disconnect. There is something for every age. From bushwalking and fishing, to stargazing and animal feeding, from relaxing with a cold beer during Summer to enjoying a glass of red wine in front of the fire in Winter, it is the perfect place to reconnect at any time of the year.
The cottage is in the heart of the farm and approximately 1km from the main homestead where our family reside. While we are happy to come and welcome you to the cottage, you probably won't see much of us (unless you want to) because the houses are not near each other and we have separate driveways. However, as an active commercial goat farm, timber yard, farm stay venue and group respite facility for NDIS participants, we are generally around most of the time. We are often down checking on animals, fences and other farm issues! We welcome you to join in as much or as little as you want. Otherwise, we are happy to communicate via messages or phone, and should you need any assistance, then we will come and help.
This unique experience is situated in the heart of a private commercial goat farm. There are no neighbours to bother you which is perfect for resting and unwinding. We are 4kms from the Tallarook township and 8-10kms from both Broadford and Seymour. We have the Rail Trail close by and also close by to Tabillk and Mitchellton Wineries. Wether you want to come out and just hang in the hammock, walk, jog,run explore or ride a bike, we cater for all. When required, pick up and drop off can be arranged from the Tallarook Train Station. There is an express train that travels numerous times a day from and to Melbourne. Airport pick ups can be arranged for a fee. Most of the property is 2wd accessible but more fun with 4wd
