Jamieson Cottage - a couples retreat, is a renovated self contained 1br cottage and located in the best central, heritage tree lined area of Warrnambool, Great South Coast of Victoria. Only 2 blocks to the city centre, 1km from the racecourse, 2km from the beach and and 50mtrs from the botanical gardens, indoor pool and gym. Its location would suit any discerning couple wanting a break to enjoy cafes, restaurants, theatre, arts precinct, pubs, racecourse, beaches and all that Warrnambool offers within a short walking distance. Short drives exposes wider surrounds such as the Tower Hill volcano and indigenous cultural centre, the historic township of Port Fairy and the Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road, as well as great fishing locations. See photos for just a small sample of what Warrnambool and surrounds have to offer. Further and/or more specific information can be obtained by contacting the owners. We have been operating Jamieson Cottage as a holiday stay for just over 10 years. We pride ourselves on provision of excellence in customer service and experience. We are quite obsessive on cleanliness and our past guests have commented extremely favourably on this aspect, as well as us also having many guests continuing to return to renew their time at the cottage and their positive experiences.
While the cottage in Jamieson Street, Warrnambool is only 2.5 blocks from the main shopping and restaurant areas, it is located in a blue ribbon street of Warrnambool. The north facing aspect of the property takes advantage of sun the afternoon, and evenings are very quiet. A local shop is right next door and the owners are very helpful with local information (and provision of daily staples). Neighbours are very friendly and welcoming of our guests. The botanical gardens and local aquatic centre/gym is only a stones throw from the cottage, and many past guests have enjoyed their time at these areas (picnic basket is provided the cottage for use).
